Little Acorns is Hyde Hall's pre-school gardening and craft club aiming to engage children with the wonderful natural world around them. Every session has a seasonal theme, a relaxed routine, a story and an engaging selection of practical activities. Some activities are inside and some are outside - whatever the weather! This months theme is Ice. In the basket will be Ice Lantern and winter colour plants. The talk will be What is Ice? What makes Ice?. Inside activities will include Ice Art, make a snowflake, planting peas or broadbeans and many more. Outside activity will be collecting things for a nature table at home and winter nature tray. The story will be 'When will it Snow' and the Snowflake Rhyme.
