Afternoon study session. Toshio Watanabe, an art historian specialising in the artistic relationships between Britain and Japan, will be exploring how the West interacted with Japanese gardens from the mid – nineteenth century to the present day. Toshio and the library’s art curator will be presenting items from the Lindley Library collection.
