Against the background of Waddesdon Manor's stunning carpet bedding, RHS experts Jim Buttress and Mark Wasilewski will discuss the history of bedding schemes and how they are used today to brighten our parks and other public places. Both Jim and Mark spent a large part of their careers with the Royal Parks department. Mark is currently Park Manager of St James's Park and The Green Park, and Jim has won eight gold medals at Chelsea Flower Show. After their talk, Stuart Lowen of plant breeder Ball Colegrave will give an insider's look at the latest in bedding plants and how they can be used to create contemporary or traditional schemes. There will also be a Q&A session, followed by lunch and a garden tour.
