Join us for a combined Library Talk and Garden Walk: Philadelphus (Mock Orange). The Library talk will be led by one of the Library staff and the Garden Walk will be led by one of the RHS Horticulturalists.

Embark on a fragrant journey through time, exploring the rich heritage of the Philadelphus shrub, affectionately known as the mock orange. This plant, celebrated for its intoxicating scent and elegant blossoms, has graced gardens and captured hearts for centuries.


Order of Events
11am – Please arrive at the Library at Hilltop
11.30am – At approximately this time, we will start walking towards the Garden
11.35am – We will start the Philadelphus tour element of the event
12 noon – At approximately this time, the event will end.

Please note this tour will involve walking from the Library to and around the Garden. Mobility buggies are available from the Welcome Building for anyone who requires one.
