The last in our popular ‘A Year in Your Garden Series’. Not sure what tasks to tackle in your garden at home this season? This session is aimed at new gardeners and those wishing to increase knowledge in helping stay on top of seasonal gardening jobs – or those wishing to join for fresh inspiration! Learn techniques, tips, tricks and advice from our RHS Hyde Hall Garden Team. This session will include a number of practical demonstrations within different parts of the garden.

Whether you're a gardening enthusiast looking to refine your skills or uncertain about your tasks in the garden during this season, then let our experts guide you. Stay up to date with all your seasonal gardening jobs, or just join this workshop for some inspiration. Topics covered will include advice on tasks such as dividing and planting perennials, handling bulbs, protecting tender plants and cutting back.

Arrival Information:

  • The meeting point for this session is at front of house, in he Welcome Building. Please arrive in good time to register your arrival.
For this workshop:
  • The workshop is based on a walk-and-talk format therefore we advise dressing appropriately for the weather. 
  • You are welcome to stay in the gardens afterwards should you wish to stop for lunch and a wander round.
