RHS Garden Rosemoor is surrounded by a stunning backdrop of trees and woodland, of which the RHS owns and manages more than 120 acres. You will learn about our woodland management plan, discussing some of the different ways in which each wood is being managed.

Our walk will include a section of woodland that is not normally open to the public, covering as much ground as possible within the session. With discussions throughout, you will hear about our management objectives, the importance of resilient woodland and our future visions for Rosemoor’s Woodland.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera or mobile phone for photos if you wish
Please wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather on the day. You will be outside and walking for the duration of the workshop, the ground in some areas is rough and uneven, and it may be muddy underfoot.

Tutor: Rod Knight (RHS Garden Team)
