    Hanging Baskets

Hanging baskets and planters can be a wonderful way to add colour, texture and excitement to doorways, walls and conservatories. We will look at ways to be creative with containers by choosing plants and soil mixes and learning how to keep the display going throughout the year.

Viv will demonstrate how to plant up a basket to give you a summer-long display, dripping with colour. You will take home plenty of ideas and inspiration to plant, update and rejuvenate your hanging planting.

The workshop will give you all the information and guidance you need to plant up and maintain a successful summer hanging basket, and includes either a book, plants or some gardening goodies to help you on this journey.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera or mobile phone for photos if you wish
Please wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather on the day. Parts of this workshop will be taking place both indoors and outside.

All materials and equipment provided. Tea, coffee and cake included.

Tutor: Viv Hunt
