Have fun turning old clothing and fabric offcuts into beautiful rugs, comfy cushions and unique homeware with the traditional craft of rag rugging. Taught by expert crafter and author Elspeth Jackson, you will learn how to use rag rug equipment, choose and prepare materials, design a rag rug and learn two different techniques (loopy and shaggy).

During the class, you will have plenty of 1-2-1 attention, advice and inspiration as you begin either a rug, cushion or smaller project (depending on how ambitious you are). By the end of the workshop, you will have all the skills you need to begin any rag rug project at home. All materials are provided.

Tutor: Elspeth Jackson
