Backhouse Rossie Estate is home to Scotland’s National Scientific Collection of Narcissus Backhouse cultivars, containing early hybrids from Wordsworth’s style daffodils. Here's your chance to walk through time with thousands of historic, modern, and scented daffodils.

The Walled Garden is full of spring plantings, and you can follow the Woodland Walk to a Covenanters tomb, or wander down the Narcissus lined path in the footsteps of Mary Queen of Scots. The Bear Walk is planted with scented daffodils and children can also take part in a woodland quiz.

On your visit, you can enjoy the Festival Café, food and drink and artisan stalls, plant sales, garden fete stalls as well as listen to fascinating talks. You can also see all the prize-winning daffodils on display, including the important lost daffodil cultivar, which took 10 years to find.

Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed on the woodland walk. Talks and garden tours must be booked in advance.
