Join us for a combined Library Talk and Garden Walk: The Jellicoe Canal - Before & After. The Library talk will be led by one of the Library staff and the Garden Walk will be led by one of the RHS Horticulturalists.

Join us in exploring the history of the area we now know as the Jellicoe Canal. What was there before the canal, how the canal came to be, what is there now and what does the future hold?

Order of Events

11am – Please arrive at the Library at Hilltop for the talk
11.30am – (approx.) we will walk down to the Jellicoe Canal
11.35am – (approx.) we will start the tour of the canal area
12 noon – (approx.)  the event will come to an end

Please note this tour will involve walking from the Library to the Jellicoe Canal area. Mobility buggies are available from the Welcome Building for anyone who requires one. Please book buggies in advance.
