Gilbert White and 18th Century Gardening

Discover the World of Gilbert White: his methods, his plants, his concerns - a Garden Kalendar from the 18th Century. Gilbert White is widely known as a pioneering naturalist, a gentle observer of the natural world whose writings still enchant readers today. But he was also a practical gardener, an experimental grower, and a keen recorder of everyday life.
