On our Success with Sustainable Gardening workshop, you will get a guide on 10 key actions which will reduce your carbon footprint and encourage a healthy garden ecosystem. Working with nature rather than against it will also give you more time to sit and enjoy the garden while the bees pollinate your apples and the bluetits eat your pests.

Throughout this workshop, you’ll be given lots of practical tips and ideas to guide you in creating an action plan that will help you achieve your sustainability goal. You will learn about selecting the right plant for the right place, going peat free or making your own organic fertiliser – all ways to garden sustainably.

This workshop will take place in the learning studio but will contain a short walk in the garden. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.

Ticket price includes garden entry and light refreshments.

Tutor:
Anne Gunning

Please Note: This workshop will feature some topic crossover with the Low Maintenance Gardening workshop on 18 March 2023.
