Capture the summer colour of the Rose Garden in acrylics. After some short demonstrations of acrylic paint and how it’s applied, we will head to the gardens to capture a garden scene or individual blooms in this vibrant, forgiving and versatile medium.

Starting with a blank canvas, John will guide you with step-by-step tuition to produce an artwork to be proud of. He will be giving you full support throughout the day to ensure that everyone goes home with an effective and pleasing piece of art. All equipment provided. Suitable for all levels including beginners.

John Piper is a local, professional artist, teaching courses and workshops throughout North Devon, both for art groups and individuals.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Suitable clothes for painting in
  • Camera (or mobile phone for photos)
Please wear closed-toed shoes. Lunch and refreshments are included.
