Want to know more about spring bulbs? Join us for this ‘spring bulb planting workshop’ at RHS Garden Bridgewater.

During this workshop, you will learn lots of tips to get the best out of your bulb planting, including what types of spring bulbs are available, their uses, ideal growing conditions and how to plant them to get the best long-lasting display in spring.
 
You will also gain advice on pests and diseases, how to grow sustainably, the history of bulb use and how we plant bulbs to complement other planting colours and forms here at Bridgewater. As part of the workshop, you will be guided in planting a ‘Lasagne’ bulb pot to take home with you.
 
Tutor: Caroline Williamson – RHS Bridgewater Outer Walled Garden Team Leader

Location and Arrival Information: The workshop will take place initially in the Learning Studios, situated within the Welcome Building, and then in the Learning Greenhouse.

Catering: Tea and coffee will be available on arrival.

For this workshop, you will need:All materials are provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and practical clothing suitable for the weather conditions on the day.

Skill Level: Beginner -  I am keen to learn and to develop my experience and confidence.
