Are you new to gardening and not sure where to start, or what to do when? This session is aimed at new gardeners and those wishing to increase their knowledge of seasonal gardening activities. You will go on a seasonal whistle-stop tour of techniques, tips, tricks and advice, about tasks to do in autumn and will be shown a number of practical demonstrations during this guided garden walk.

Autumn topics include – planting trees and shrubs, dividing herbaceous perennials, planting bulbs, digging, protecting tender perennials and autumn lawn care.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera or mobile phone for photos if you wish
Please wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather on the day.
