Delve into the world of colourful willow weaving to make a simple rustic-frame basket, perfect for foraging and gathering wild food, and practical for general use. this workshop is perfect fpor beginners and those new to or with little willow experience. 

Sarah has an infectious enthusiasm for her craft and will inspire you with tales about our rich willow basket-making heritage. She is passionate about her willow work and has been running her own business in willow sculpting and basketwork since 2006.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera (or mobile phone for photos)
  • Secateurs
  • Gloves if you wish to wear them.
Please wear old clothes and layers. Willow work is very active and you might get quite warm.

All materials provided. Lunch and refreshments included.

Please note: To gain the most from this workshop, a good level of mobility as well as finger dexterity and hand strength is essential.
