This course is designed for beginners and is set in ten acres of landscaped gardens, the workshop is held under cover, but we are outside so suitable clothing and strong footwear is recommended.  You will need to bring a packed lunch and flask.

All materials and tools are included. The sculptures are yours to take home. We will be using a soft Maltese limestone which is relatively easy to carve, the blocks are approximately ten-inch cubes.

Some initial source material in the form of a sketch, photograph or small model might be helpful for inspiration.

This event will be repeated on several dates until the end of September, please check the Mount Pleasant Gardens' website for more information.
