Forest gardening can be practised in even the smallest of gardens or even a single raised bed or large planter whether you are in an urban or sub urban area. During this course we will explore the benefits of forest gardens in urban spaces both for the gardener and for wildlife. We will look at plants suitable for urban forest gardens and begin to put together your own planting plan to try out at home. We will cover ways to increase wildlife habitat which is scarce in urban environments, enabling natural pest control and good pollination.
