Join artist Lynn Kirkley for a watercolour painting workshop drawing inspiration from the fresh blooms in the Spring garden. Lynn is a local painter with art work in the permanent collection of Salford and Bury Art Gallery.

During this watercolour painting workshop you will observe and record the foliage and flowers seen at RHS Garden Bridgewater at this time of year. Back in the Learning Studio you will be guided through a range of watercolour techniques from colour mixing to creating different tones, textures and pattern from your watercolours and brush strokes. After some time for experimentation with the watercolour techniques learnt, you will complete your painting to create a unique personalised painting of the garden.

All materials are provided. Participants are recommended to bring a camera phone with which to photograph flora in the garden that they are inspired to paint. Tea and coffee will be available at the workshop.
