You will be met for coffee at 10am in our coffee shop by garden owner and horticultural trainer Christine Liddle. During the workshop you will learn how to correctly reduce the size of an overgrown shrub without killing it and we will carry out some winter pruning of shrubs in the gardens. 

At 12.30pm a lunch of hearty vegetable soup, a sweet treat and hot drink will be served.

After lunch we’ll move into the polytunnel and you will be shown how to take hardwood cuttings from our gardens without the use of chemicals, which you can take home & grow on.

Wrap up warm and bring a folding seat if you like. Bring your own secateurs/loppers & gardening gloves, you’ll be more comfortable using familiar tools.
