Visit Harlow Carr Library and admire the two latest seasonal embroideries on display.  Created for us by the talented Richmond & Leyburn Creative Stitchers, the scenes show the Main Borders in high summer and the stunning colours of Autumn.

To create these beautifully embroidered scenes, two photographs were taken of the garden and cut up into 48 squares.  These were then given to each of the embroiderers to interpret in their own individual way.  The finished pieces were then put together like a jigsaw to re-create the two whole pictures in embroidery form.
