Festive Calligraphy

Learn the beautiful and traditional craft of Modern Calligraphy with a festive twist! Join us at RHS Garden Hyde Hall, where you will be taken through a two-hour dip pen session with Helen Wallace from ‘Wallace Lettering’.

Learn everything from mark making to letter formation and numbers while building your own unique hand lettering style. Great for beginners, those wanting to improve their style and flair, as well as both right and left-handed people.
 
Continue practising at home with a calligraphy starter kit, which will be yours to take away, including a pen holder, nib, ink and worksheet.

All materials and a calligraphy starter kit are included.

Arrival Information: 

• Please arrive 15 mins before the start of the workshop to allow time to register your arrival and make your way to the classroom. 
• This workshop will take place in the Clore Learning Centre which is located at the top of the hill, adjacent to the Gardeners Rest Restaurant. 

For this workshop:

• All materials and tools are supplied.
• There will be tea/coffee available throughout.
• You are welcome to stay in the gardens afterwards should you wish to stop for lunch and a wander round.
