Loosely tufted, gently spreading, deciduous perennial sedge, about 60-75cm tall, with upright stems bearing horizontal, green leaves, narrowly margined yellow as the season progresses. Carries golden-brown flower spikes on stems 60-75cm long, within the foliage, early and midsummer. May be semi-evergreen in mild locations
