Synonyms
Pinus mugo Klostergrun
A very dwarf, slow-growing form, which unlike the typical species produces tightly compact, flattened globes up to 30-50cm (12-20in) high. The mid-green needles are small, stiff, and very densely produced, so that the stems and basal branches are completely covered. It is an ideal choice for a small city, or courtyard garden, where an architectural or evergreen focal point is needed; for container growing, or for inclusion in the rockery
