Valeria Valkova A medium to large-sized, evergreen orchid hybrid producing a clump of egg-shaped pseudobulbs. Each pseudobulb is covered with leaf-bearing, basal sheaths. The leaves are linear and leathery, up to 80cm long and 2-3cm wide. Arching flowering stems emerge from the bases of new mature pseudobulbs in winter and spring, each bearing up to 15 large, waxy flowers. The flowers are up to 10cm across, pink with darker pink-red pattern on the lip. Being long-lasting, they are very popular with florists
