How to Grow

Cultivation

In mild, frost-free areas, may be grown outdoors in light, fertile, sandy soil in full sun. In areas prone to frosts, may be grown in a cool greenhouse or in containers that can be moved indoors over winter, in a peat-free, loam-based compost with added sharp sand. Water freely while in growth; keep almost dry while dormant

Propagation

Propagate by seed or by division, separating corms while the plants are dormant. Plants grown from seed may take 3-5 years to mature
