A clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial, to around 35cm high, forming a mound of narrowly lobed green leaves, lightly marked with dark bronze and supposedly shaped like a swan in flight. Long clusters of small, starry pink flowers are held on upright stems above the foliage in spring
