Herbaceous Perennial

A compact, vigorous, clump-forming semi-evergreen perennial to around 40cm in height, with strap-shaped, mid-green foliage. Pure white flowers appear from June through to August. This plant was shortlisted for the Plant Heritage Threatened Plant of the Year 2025

Cultivation

Thrives in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Flower production is better in full sun, but light afternoon shade is beneficial in areas with hot summers. Taller varieties may need support, see staking perennials
