RHS A small to medium-sized, evergreen orchid, with small ovoid pseudobulbs and dark green, linear or narrowly oval leaves up to 50cm long and 1-1.5cm wide. In winter and early spring, upright flowering stems emerge frm the base of young mature pseudobulbs. Each stem carries up to 15 pale yellow-cream or salmon-pink flowers. The flowers are often peloric- producing radially symmetrical flowers with two petals and lip carrying same, dark red and yellow markings.
