Asplenium viride
green spleenwort
An evergreen, clump-forming fern with 10-25cm long and 2-3cm wide bright yellow-green to deep green, linear, tapered fronds divided into oblong leaflets with smooth to gently toothed edges. The fronds have slightly wavy margins and a feathery, maidenhair-like appearance. The leaflets are arranged alternately along the fronds. Its green or reddish stipe (stalk) sets it apart from other spleenworts. Brown spore clusters (sori) line the underside along the midrib from late summer to early autumn
