Miscanthus sinensis 'Hinjo' (v)

Compact, clump-forming, deciduous grass, about 90cm tall, with upright stems and narrow, arching bright green leaves, horizontally banded creamy-yellow, which turn bronze-gold in autumn, fading to pale brown in winter. Feathery, silky, flower panicles open pale silvery-grey, tinted pale pinkish-bronze in late summer and early autumn, fading to silver and remaining on the plant over winter
