Shrubs
A deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub, to around 2.5m high, with a dense, branching habit and elliptic, leathery dark green leaves with deeply impressed veins. Dome-shaped clusters of hundreds of tiny, creamy white flowers are produced in late spring, followed by glossy berries that ripen to dark red. Leaves turn rich shades of red and purple in autumn
