Bromus sterilis

An annual grass with an upright growth habit that later arches, forming loose, scattered clumps. It grows between 20 and 90cm tall, with long, narrow green leaves that are slightly hairy on top and smooth underneath. Its feathery, drooping seed heads can reach up to 25cm in length, with each seed having a long, stiff bristle to aid in dispersal
