A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes, the spoon-shaped, dark purple-red leaves, darker and almost black in spring, becomes vibrant red in summer. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

How to Grow

Cultivation
