A perennial bulb, to 20cm high, with pairs of lance-shaped, grey-green leaves, wrapped one around the other at the base. Solitary, nodding white flowers are produced in late winter, with the spathe strongly curved over the top of the flower, and inner petals marked with a large dark green blotch

Cultivation
