A large, clump-forming deciduous perennial to 50cm high, with broadly heart-shaped blue-green leaves with a wide, irregular, yellow border that fades to white as the leaves mature. Produces loose clusters of bell-shaped pale purple flowers on tall, upright stems in early summer
