An upright perennial, to 90cm tall, with hairy, toothed, oval leaves forming strong, bushy growth. Fragrant, double flowers of drooping dark orange ray florets surrounding the red-orange pompom-like centre are borne on strong stems, with maroon markings, in summer and early autumn
