A clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 40cm high, with basal rosettes of lobed and toothed green leaves. Semi-double, yellow flowers flushed and tinted with red with are held on deep red stems above the foliage from late spring to mid summer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Avoid areas that are waterlogged over winter. Divide every three years or so to maintain vigour
