A herbaceous perennial to 60cm in height, forming a clump of erect, grassy, light green leaves, and upright stems bearing loose spikes of cup-shaped, pale pink flowers up to 6cm across. This historic cultivar has medium-broad, rather cupped petals with a thin darker stripe up the middle, and pinkish or yellowish anthers. One of the earlier to flower.
