A clump-forming perennial, to around 1.5m high in flower, with palmate leaves divided into oval-shaped, toothed mid-green leaflets. New foliage is flushed with reddish-bronze in spring. Tall clusters of creamy white flowers, turning pink with age, are held above the foliage in midsummer
