A vigorous, trailing, heirloom variety from Southern France spreading out to around 140cm. The large, heavily lobed fruits ripen to a rich brown colour and have dark orange, sweet flesh. Stores well if allowed to fully mature into mid-winter. A versatile choice for both sweet and savoury dishes including pies, stews and cakes. Sow in spring for harvesting September to November
