A clump-forming deciduous perennial to 70cm high, with large, thick, rounded to heart-shaped leaves, of a muted blue-green with narrow creamy yellow markings in the centre. Leaves become puckered and textured as they mature. Produces loose clusters of pale purple flowers on upright stems in summer
