A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes, the spoon-shaped, rich dark burgundy leaves, colourul all year, but especially in spring. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
