A clump-forming, deciduous, bulbous herbaceous perennial with glossy green strap-like leaves to around 100cm in height. Clusters of yellow, bell-shaped flowers which open from the bottom up, appear on tall, upright spikes in the spring. Makes a great cut flower. Seedheads provide interest over winter
