A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes to 6cm across, with tightly packed small, grey-green, red-flushed leaves, edged with fine white hairs, the leaves darkening as summer progresses. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
