A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing large fleshy rosettes, with spoon-shaped, grey-green leaves flushed dark purple-red. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
