A bushy, clump-forming deciduous shrub to around 4m in height, with maple-shaped golden-yellow palmate leaves that emerge bronze-yellow in the spring, turning to golds and reds in the autumn. Flat, white lace-cap flowerheads are produced in late spring, and are followed by glossy red berries in late summer to autumn
