A perennial bulb, to around 10cm high, with narrow, grey-green leaves. Nodding, double white flowers are produced in late winter and early spring, with spreading outer petals around a neat cluster of shorter inner petals with a distinct green 'v' at the tip, blending into a green blotch to near the base. Flowers are topped with a curved spathe over the green ovary
