A clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 60cm high, with basal rosettes of hairy, pinnate leaves. Semi-double scarlet flowers are held, singly or in groups of two or three, on stems well above the foliage from early to late summer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Avoid areas that are waterlogged over winter. Divide every three years or so to maintain vigour
