A compact, hardy, deciduous, clump-forming perennial with strap-like green leaves and upright, hairy stems. Large, single, slightly fragrant daisy-like flowers are honey-yellow with a greenish-brown central cone, and appear from mid summer, sometimes lasting through until the autumn
